Help sort food at Twin Lakes Food Bank’s offsite warehouse. Food from community serve day will need to be sorted and organized to be stored for distribution. This event will be held at our OFFSITE WAREHOUSE. Please Sign up with this link to properly get registered for this event.

Be a part of creating a clean, organized space where the veterans can select needed clothing from donated items. Volunteers will be taking the donated items of clothing and sorting, folding and hanging the items. Once sorted and arranged, the clothing will be organized in the available space to create a "shopping" experience for the veterans. Cleaning the room may also be required.

Help to create a winter garden for the veterans to enjoy. The food that is harvested will be used in meal prep by the kitchen staff at Nation's Finest. This project will include removing the current summer garden, enriching the soil, and planting provided vegetables and herbs. Some clean up of the surrounding area may also be involved.

Come serve our local community by providing food for those who find themselves in need. In a friendly and uplifting environment, you will be sorting donated food items, prepping food stations, loading shopping carts for the guests and transporting groceries to vehicles. Guests are greeted, offered the opportunity for prayer and provided treats while waiting to shop. This is an indoor event that may require some heavy lifting. Cleaning up after the event is also required.

This is a night to connect, support and celebrate the school families of Buckeye Elementary. We will provide take home groceries for the attendees. This project will start and end at Bayside El Dorado Hills. You will meet at the church to preload grocery bags 1/2 full with canned and dry goods for 20+ families. These will then be transported, along with perishable items and produce to the elementary school for distribution that starts at 6:00 pm. On-site, volunteers will assist the guests with food selection and transport the bags to vehicles if needed. After cleaning up, remaining items will be returned to the church. The volunteers will provide the transportation to the site.

Come help celebrate with the residents of Creekside Manor as we provide a barbecue with all the fixings. Volunteers will prep, grill, serve and clean up for a barbecue that will take place following the morning’s senior farmers market. Spend time with the residents, providing conversation as you enjoy the food with them. Jobs include grilling, plating and serving the food and cleaning up.

Each team will arrive at Bayside Folsom Café to create meals for the organization “Jake's Journey Home”. This looks like making meals on Sunday for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday lunches and dinners. Creating 20 meals per feeding, so 40 meals per day. You will be working as a team to create these meals and then deliver afterwards.

Each team will arrive at Bayside Folsom Café to create meals for the organization “Jakes Journey Home”. Volunteers will meet at Bayside El Dorado Hills and sort donated food items, and organize in the pantry area of Building B.  Some heavy lifting may be required.

Our new program of retail recovery involves collection of donated food items at local grocery stores, which are then brought to the church to be sorted and placed in the food pantry. You will meet at Bayside El Dorado Hills and be prepared to help organize and sort the food items and some physical labor will be included for putting all things away in the pantry.

Here you will be give an apron and asked to sell items that will be tagged in the sale. All CC Sales will be sent to the HUB

Cleanup Team will consist in helping gettine the parking lot ready for Weekend Services. All left over items will either be thrown away or Gleaned by other organizations

Some of the tasks that would be needed are as follows, you will be provided with most tools but If there your team has any tree trimmers that could be used you may need them.

Trim trees (preferably with pole saw or similar)

Structure & Area Cleanup

Clean container area (cobwebs, general cleanup)

In the HUB will be those items that are more expensive and need to be watched over. All items in the HUB are for sale as well

This job will consist of just being there when we need you. Help give breaks to those that need them when needed

Youn will responsible to make sure the volunteers check in and know there assignments

Helping with set up and organizing.

This are will be where people can drive up to pick up what they purchased oin one central location. You will help them load there vehicles.

Organizers will be just that, making sure that the items are neatly spread out and the shopeers can see everything.

This job will be to help with those items that are just a little to heavy for some to lift. Help during set up and on the day of the sale
