Volunteer: Veteran's Clothing ClosetBe a part of creating a clean, organized space where the veterans can select needed clothing from donated items. Volunteers will be taking the donated items of clothing and sorting, folding and hanging the items. Once sorted and arranged, the clothing will be organized in the available space to create a "shopping" experience for the veterans. Cleaning the room may also be required. Volunteer: Winter Garden for VeteransHelp to create a winter garden for the veterans to enjoy. The food that is harvested will be used in meal prep by the kitchen staff at Nation's Finest. This project will include removing the current summer garden, enriching the soil, and planting provided vegetables and herbs. Some clean up of the surrounding area may also be involved.
